Cargill Cocoa & Chocolate and Bidon|Fritom have been working closely together for many consecutive years. This partnership goes beyond just the standard collaboration between manufacturer and carrier, because over the years Bidon|Fritom has proven to be the flexible partner that Cargill Cocoa & Chocolate requires.
“For optimal use of the capacity of these production lines flexibility is a must. Bidon|Fritom is a very important link in this process,” according to Bert Dusselier of Cargill Cocoa & Chocolate.
Cargill Cocoa & Chocolate is a global supplier of high-quality cocoa and chocolate products like cocoa mass, cocoa butter, coatings, and fillings. Their 149,000 employees across 70 countries are committed to feed the world in a responsible way. Cargill Cocoa & Chocolate is the heart of the cocoa industry and works continuously on reducing its impact on the environment and to contribute to the communities we live and work in.
One of the examples of our intensive collaboration are the short communication lines between Bidon|Fritom and Cargill Cocoa & Chocolate. Extra costs due to traffic jams subside through on-time deliveries and pick-ups. Bidon|Fritom also transports products internally on site. As the preferred carrier of choice, drivers of Bidon|Fritom are present at the Cargill Cocoa & Chocolate factory seven days a week. At request, they are even available 24/7, so that the incoming and outcoming cargo can even be handled during the night. I guess you could say that Bidon|Fritom is part of the factory.
Another advantage of Bidon|Fritom is the constant availability of a number of trailers on site, making it possible for operators to load cargo that won’t be unloaded right away. This cargo will be stored in specially equipped tank containers for temperature-sensitive products until delivery is required. This makes it possible for Cargill to optimally use its loading lanes and production tanks. A perfect example of value-added logistics!
